A shoot runs to its own rhythm, dictated by weather, drives and how the morning’s gone, and lunch has to fit around that reality rather than force the day to work around a fixed serving time. Cold, hungry guns waiting on food that isn’t ready yet is not a good look for anyone organising the day. Your wedding day already has a hundred moving parts: timings, suppliers, family, weather, the list goes on. The food is not something you should still be thinking about once the day actually arrives. It should simply happen, at the right time, cooked properly, and served without anyone needing to check in with you about it. A hen do should be about the group, not about who’s stuck behind a table plating up food while everyone else is having fun. That’s usually what happens when catering is left as an afterthought or split between whoever’s willing to cook. The simplest way to explain what we do is this: we take on the parts of event catering that are genuinely stressful to plan, so that everything looks and feels effortless to everyone else on the day. That means proper ingredients, sourced with care rather than convenience. It means a team that’s done this enough times to know how to handle a hundred plates or a dozen, without either feeling rushed. Planning an event usually means coordinating five different suppliers and hoping every single one of them turns up on time, does what they promised, and doesn’t leave you fielding phone calls in the middle of the day itself. Food is often the biggest of those moving parts, and also the one guests remember most clearly afterwards. There's no reason the food at your event should be a step down from what you'd order at a good restaurant. The same standard of ingredients, the same attention to technique and plating, just delivered to wherever you're hosting instead of a dining room. Behind every plate we send out, there's a reason it's there. The chorizo skewer that nods to years spent cooking with bold, simple flavours. The panna cotta finished with fresh strawberries because they were at their best that week. The hog roast that's been the centrepiece of every summer event we've done, because some things don't need reinventing, just doing properly. We're now taking bookings for winter weddings. Winter menus tend to lean towards slow cooked mains, warming starters and a dessert course suited to a longer, indoor-focused day. Package options include a canapé reception, a three course meal or a buffet style service, depending on the venue and guest numbers. Smaller events, from garden parties to private dinners at home, are priced and planned the same way as larger ones: menu built around guest numbers, dietary needs and the setting. Formats range from a plated dinner for a small group to a relaxed buffet for a garden gathering.
